Software Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features for network server applications.
• Work with customers and product management to define new features.
• Devise algorithms to solve complex problems.
• Mentor other members of the engineering staff.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience developing server software using C or C++.
• Proven track record of shipping high quality software products on time.
• Must have written network server or network protocol software.
• Must have some experience developing distributed and concurrent systems.

Preferred Experience

• Developing high performance software for an SMP environment.
• Network protocol design.
• Algorithm development.
• Cryptosystem development.
• Database engine or search engine development.
